  • Annual: starting at $1,000 for one session

  • Semi-annual: starting at $900 per session

  • Quarterly: starting at $800 per session

  • Projections of your financial situation at planned intervals

  • Tax-saving strategy recommendations

  • Meetings with your CPA to discuss your short-term and long-term financial goals, and how to get there.

Tax Planning FAQs

  • Some people don’t like surprises, and none of us like to be told we need to pay money when we don’t expect it. Tax planning will give you an idea of how much you’ll owe come filing time and by doing it before year-end, you’re giving yourself time to find ways to minimize those surprises.

  • The IRS requires that you pay your tax as you earn your income - think how you have income tax withholdings taken out of your normal W-2 wages. For small business owners, if you’re making money, you’re required to pay the IRS and your state government on a quarterly basis. The “safe harbor” is the minimum amount you have to pay in order to negate penalties for not paying your tax as you earn it.

  • A financial projection is a prediction of what your income is going to be at the end of the year before you get there. We take your year-to-date financial information and estimate what your future earnings will look like, based on that information and any expectations you have.

  • There are ways to minimize taxes owed - retirement deferrals, using your home for business, timing your equipment purchases, and many more. We’ll look at your financial situation and recommend strategies that work best for you.
